Service Description
Term 2 | Tuesday 26th April to Friday 1st July Music Theatre puts singing and acting together with choreographed movement to produce musical performances! Students will be directed through performance pieces and learn valuable skills associated with: * Taking direction * Working in an ensemble * Singing with movement * Character building * Working from scenes and text into song like a pro! Students will also refine auditioning skills to impress in that all important musical theatre audition. Students will get a chance to create and prepare their very own solo piece to perform in a simulated in-class audition scenario, preparing students for tertiary study in performing arts, local performance opportunities and/or professional work. Students will make meaningful friendships, hone skills, build confidence and learn from trained professional mentors and have a blast doing it!
