Sarah Morabito

An extremely versatile vocalist with over 20 years professional performance experience, Sarah has received the finest training from principal singers with Opera Australia(Sydney). She is a graduate in Arts Music Theatre from the University of Ballarat. She has performed various roles for independent companies in NSW and Victoria. As a commercial vocalist Sarah has fronted various cover bands, Jazz bands and show bands nationally and Internationally. She toured the US performing at Disneyland, LA, the Lincoln Center New York and various Jazz clubs in New Orleans. Sarah received tuition from some of the biggest names in Jazz in the USA.

 

Sarah has performed at various corporate community and sporting events. She has worked in film and TV as a featured actor/singer, most recently in an ABC Telemovie directed by Underbelly director Sean Seet and fronted Melbourne corporate band ‘Electrik’ working with the cream of Melbourne’s best Musicians.

 

As a session vocalist Sarah’s voice is featured on the albums of various national and international artists, ranging in genres from Folk, Pop, Metal and Opera. Sarah now lives in Port Macquarie and was a resident vocalist for Blue Hypothesis and is co-director of Theatre Oz Port Macquarie, Sarah is also a private singing coach.

 

Mark Morabito

With a strong music theatre background, Mark Morabito has performed in numerous professional productions for companies such as Victorian Opera, The Production Company, and The Entertainment Store.

Melbourne born and bred, Mark Morabito has over 20 years performance experience.​

Mark has worked as a commercial vocalist for corporate events, show bands and session recording.

Studying at the University of Ballarat (Bachelor of Arts - Music Theatre), Mark is co-Director, singing and instrumental teacher at Theatre Oz

Jaimee Lindley

Jaimee started singing and acting from a young age, and found herself getting involved with the arts as much as possible during her school years. This led to her getting a Bachelor of Theatre and Performance from the University of New England.​

Jaimee has years of experience in performing, both on and off stage. Acting, directing, light and sound, as well as back of house, are all parts of her repertoire. Locally, you may have seen her as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (2014) at Player’s Theatre, or perhaps as part of some of the amazing ensembles for Anything Goes (2015) or The Producers (2016).

 

Four years teaching abroad has shown Jaimee that she has a joy for teaching, so combining her passions and becoming a mentor and admin for Theatre Oz was a no brainer for her. She is thrilled to be a part of the team, and excited to see what exciting things are in store.

 

Craig M. Wood

Craig is a 20 year veteran of musical education. He has taught through the public, private and independent systems, run his own holistic music school in Tasmania, and travelled the country with cutting edge creative education programs, as both musical director and mentor.

 

He is a lifelong performer and has written musical works for concert, stage, and screen.

 

Craig has recently settled on the Mid-North Coast of NSW with his partner and daughter, to enjoy the quiet life, and focus on family, community, and creativity.

Cate Storen

Cate began singing and acting from a young age, through school, church and community avenues. Choirs, eisteddfods, musicals, bands and production teams are some of the areas her experience lends itself too.

She has recently been involved with Players Theatre productions, onstage and behind the scenes as well as time spent with Theatre Oz Port Macquarie.

​Her passion for music and teaching others continues to evolve and she can’t wait for what the future has in store!

 

Kate Simpson

Radiating strong passion for physical theatre, Kate has been immersed in the world of
creative arts for many years. Dancing, singing, acting, lighting and directing encompass her repertoire. Kate is currently finishing her Bachelor of Theatre and Performance at the University of New England.


Growing up in Laurieton, Kate has been involved in various local performances including
Patty Simcox in Grease (2016) at Player’s Theatre, Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie (2018) at Player’s Theatre and further away, Paulette in Legally Blonde (2019) at UNE, Armidale.

 

Kate is re-locating back to the Mid-North Coast after living at Earle Page College, Armidale for the past 3 years. She is elated to begin teaching students and working alongside the Theatre Oz team.
